Robotic automation is now entering into back-office and front-office functions which are saving nearly 40 and 70 per cent of labour costs and completing work with nearly zero error reported. Maryland was frequently heard of deploying AI-enabled traffic signals for the regulation of traffic flow while Vermont uses AI in the prediction of road repairs and identify sign locations for the permissions to be given to autonomous vehicles and their navigation. AI and machine learning also help in processing advanced cyber analytics to help IT departments balance the increasing workloads and talent shortages regularly.
Before the CIOS intermission into AI, NASCIO has advised them to clearly define the problem they face in solving, assessing the data management and address their transparency issues so as to build terms and conditions depending on the existing resources.
AI is to be made a citizen-centric program in which using AI as a tool provides the best ways of solving problems easily without forcing, with the availability of technology.
