The jointly developed new Big Data analytics solutions from the US-based business analytics vendor SAS and the IT affiliate of Samsung Electronics, Samsung SDS is been announced by the companies. SAS IN-Database the self-developed analytics platform and Samsung SDS’s Brightics and SAS Enterprise Minor is what their SAS system uses. Samsung SDS’s long record of Big Data analytics in servicing large group affiliates and SAS’s know-how in servicing 80,000 clients in government and enterprise will be combined with the help of MOU.
Machine learning will be incorporated by the two under MOU in order to search for potential business opportunities in the area of the future market. Big cooperating agreements with global data giants from near past will be signed by Samsung SDS as it is attempting to strengthen its roots abroad in cloud and security like enterprise solutions. In July, it announced it accepted a palisade in UK-based security firm Darktrace. It signed an MOU with IBM to sell cloud security solutions together in May. To provide cloud solutions for clients in Asia-Pacific it announced a partnership with SAP a month earlier and in order to tap into China’s logistic market it declared a cooperation agreement with Oracle.
