Michael Stern, professional and analytics service expert was announced the practice management expert of Prosperware, enterprise technology company. Michael was working as a Regional Sales Director for Wolters Kluwer ELM solutions prior to this move. There he worked for about a year to encourage the use of business intelligence with the in-house law department. Stern served as a manager at Redwood analytics prior to that. Stern helped implement Redwood’s platform in more than 150 different law firms according to Prosperware.
The company’s business intelligence platform Umbria is what Stern will be working with mostly. The company announced an updated version of which in the month of May. Stern said in a statement that he would further be developing integration for Umbria. Which includes coupling Umbria with solutions that benefit an organization adopt the solution while refining their business processes to warrant that organization can deliver great value to their clients, profitably and predictably.
Around cost control and matter management like demands from the client, law firms are scrambling to find meaning in the metrics they collect. Keeping many different metrics will give led to inconclusive data to work with.
Whether it be client tracking its legal service or the law firm many current business intelligence platforms looks to the end user said, Stern.
