The availability of this option outside of the United States and for higher 10TB, 20TB, and 30TB users is yet unclear. With an easier way to manage Android phone backups, there have been frequent updates from the Google Drive team in the recent weeks. The update has also made sure those who are going to switch to iPhone, transferring their photos is not a painful process anymore. Users just have to click on the respective annual price appearing bellow the button showing the monthly cost in order to exploit the new savings.
While compared to 5GB from iCloud and 2GB from Dropbox Google Drive is already providing a generous amount of space i.e. 15GB to its users for free. Now for the power users, upgrading will be a lot easier with the new plans on board. At the same time, the company is putting a little extra pressure on its competitors to keep pace.
